Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, 1974. Internship between 1978-1984 at the Dermatology Service of the Curry Cabral Hospital. Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology by the Portuguese Medical Association. Approved by Unanimity and Distinction. Dermatology Service of the District Hospital of Faro since February 1984 where she held the position of Director of the Dermatology Service. Vice-President of the Board of the Portuguese Society of Dermatology and Venereology, in the 2002/2004 and 2004/2006 mandates. Secretary General of the Portuguese Psoriasis Group, in the 2004-2006 biennium. Member of the Portuguese Acne Advisory Board, created in 2004.
